Voice and communication style are an important aspect of many people’s identity. The goal of therapy is to support you in developing an authentic, healthy, and sustainable voice and communication pattern that affirms your gender identity and individuality. After a thorough intake and voice assessment is complete, we will work together to develop a voice and communication program that meets your personal needs, goals, and learning style.


Although pitch is an important variable, there are many other factors that can be explored and refined through voice and communication therapy, including:

  • Vocal depth or lightness

  • Resonance

  • Inflection/intonation

  • Language

  • Nonverbal communication

  • Non-speech communication (e.g. coughing, laughing)
